Planning staff is proposing amendments to increase regulatory protections for oil and gas operations within unincorporated Arapahoe County and ensure the regulations align with neighboring jurisdictions and industry best practices.

The Planning Commission has continued its July 18 public hearing as it regards the proposed amendments to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 15, 2023. The public comment portion of the hearing is closed. The commission could re-open public comment, if any revisions are made to the proposed amendments that were presented on July 18.
